My Dream Engagement Ring

I always said I've wanted an engagement ring that is different, I mean what girl doesn't?

I'm a girl who loves a lot of different styles but at the same time am very picky!

While pinning on pinterest today I found THE ONE.

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!

My birthstone is amber, and it is absolutely stunning! My momma always said that's why my middle name is Amber lol yeah right

I love the gold and amber that is a sort of tan brown tone, it would make me look tan ;) and the large center would give a slimming affect to my ring finger!

It's unique and 1600. Too bad it's on etsy and it'll be gone before my boyfriend proposes to me! We have a four year plan, i told him today I can't wait two more year, but i'm just a baby.. :(

Boutique Inspiration

Ever since I was a little girl, my mother and I would never turn down the chance at a walk through a boutique! The days that we would come across them were the best days. My mother would always buy me anything I asked for and tell me "the smile on your face is priceless Peach." My mother is my entire world (writing that makes me think of something she says frequently, "Baby, why won't you name your daughter after me, Colleen? or your son, Colin? Don't you love your mother?") haha too funny, I love her with all of my heart. She is one of the wisest women i know, my everything, my first prayer every night is thanking God for her as a blessing in my life. Back to the boutique! A few towns i remember my favorite boutiques are Thousand Islands, New York; Oak Harbor, Washington; Waxahachie, New York; Paris, France; just a few to name. I love antique stores, and my biggest, most recent inspiration: Francesca's!


My original major was psychology which i would bet my left hand i was going to be a counselor. But i change my mind often. Lately all that has changed. God has sent me signs, and has opened my mind! I don't know why i haven't thought of this all before! Why not make my passion my career?

I mean HELLO! All the signs point to it, every time i think about it I get butterflies! I am ECSTATIC about it all! 

Blog Name

So I have not decided on a name for my boutique, i'm sure that will come in time. I decided to name my blog "you're in my heart" because my daddy used to say it to me when I was a little girl. He would say "Where are you when I don't see you?" And i would say "I'm in your heart!" One of the few memories I have left of him after so long. The young mind has a poor memory and it seems when you age you forget your past more and more each day which makes me sad. This might have been what sparked my photograph obsession. I always say if my house was on fire the first thing i would grab is my photo box! I love photographs, they are glimpses of my past and always spark my memory. They make me smile :D My most prized possession.
